My Story
Hi, I’m Jessica Thompson (but please, call me Jess)—the founder of The Quiet Desk, business strategist, homeschooling mom, law enforcement wife, and someone who knows what it means to grow a business while protecting the life that matters most.
My path into entrepreneurship didn’t follow a straight line. I’ve worked in nonprofits, the legal world, and service-based industries—and for a while, it all felt disconnected. But when I partnered with my brother-in-law to co-lead what would become the Complete Leadership Academy, those pieces started to click into place.
We built something powerful together, but as the business grew, I felt the need to create a space specifically for women navigating entrepreneurship with intention. That space became the Complete Small Biz Academy—and now, it has evolved into something even more aligned: The Quiet Desk.
This brand was born from my own desire to lead a sustainable business that supports my family, honors my values, and doesn’t demand constant hustle to succeed. I’ve lived the overwhelm. I’ve untangled the noise. And now, I help other women do the same.
Through personalized consulting, thoughtful tools, and calm strategy sessions, I help professional women grow their business or career with clarity and balance. Whether you’re building from scratch or streamlining what you’ve already started, I’m here to help you find your next step—and take it with confidence.
When I’m not working with clients, I co-own an electrical company (The Electric Way) with my family, co-facilitate Uplift—a local networking group for women entrepreneurs—and spend my days nurturing a peaceful home for my family in beautiful Monument, CO.
